Chelsea vs Man United

The latest Premier League gameweek will draw to a close on Monday the 17th of February, with Chelsea playing host to Manchester United.

You can check out 101’s betting tips for the clash here.

Chelsea head into the tie sat 4th in the Premier League, one point above 5th placed Tottenham.

But whilst the Blues have spent the majority of the campaign in the top-four, their form of late has been pretty poor.

Chelsea have won just one of their last five league outings, and are in danger of slipping out of the top-four.

As for Man United, they are currently out of the European places, sat 9th in the PL.

But a win over Chelsea on Monday would take Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side up to 7th place, and within three points of 4th spot.

Kante on Man United clash

It would be Manchester United who Frank Lampard faced in his first Premier League game as Chelsea boss.

The two powerhouses went head-to-head on the opening weekend of this season, but it certainly didn’t go the way that Lampard would have been hoping for.

When the final whistle blew at Old Trafford, the score was 4-0 to Man United.

But despite the hammering that his side received in the last league meeting between the two sides, Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has stated that the London outfit are not out to get revenge.

The Frenchman instead claimed that Chelsea need to win on Monday to keep the six-point gap between themselves and United, not to get revenge.

“Man United were a bit behind but now they have closed the gap so it’s a big opportunity either for us to keep them behind or for them to close the gap more.

“It’s an important game for both teams. We all know that Man United at home is a very difficult game, especially after what happened in the first game but we don’t look at this.

“We just look forward because we want to keep the gap and so that’s why we need to win, not to get revenge.” As quoted by ESPN.
