PSG’s Neymar & Barcelona
According to Brazilian website Globo, Neymar is “close” to leaving PSG to return to Barcelona.
Globo predict that the deal could be completed in the summer transfer window.
Moreover, it’s revealed that Barcelona are keen on Neymar’s return, and “negotiations are well underway.”
How much would Barcelona have to pay for Neymar?
Back in 2017, Neymar become the world’s most expensive player when he left Barcelona to join PSG in a 222 million euro deal.
Neymar agreed a five-year deal with PSG.
Globo suggest that Barcelona could attract Neymar from PSG by offering 100 million euros plus “a few players”.
The names touted as part of the possible deal include Samuel Umtiti, Ousmane Dembélé and Ivan Rakitic.

How likely is it that PSG agree to sell Neymar?
PSG were able to sign Neymar from Barcelona as they paid the Brazilian’s release clause.
However, no such release clause exists in Neymar’s current PSG deal.
Nevertheless, Globo report that PSG are ready to discuss selling Neymar, provided the terms are adequate.
Globo are good, and they’re saying that Neymar is closing on going to going back to Barcelona.
€100m plus player(s). Dembele, Umtiti, Rakitic all mentioned.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi & France Football
Nasser Al-Khelaifi, PSG’s president, recently told France Football the following:
I want players willing to give everything to defend the honour of the jersey and to join the club project.
Those who do not want that, or do not understand, we will meet and we will talk to each other.
There are of course contracts to be respected, but the priority now is total membership of our project.
Nobody forced him to sign here. Nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join a project.
The players are going to have to assume their responsibilities even more than before.
It has to be completely different. They will have to do more, work more… They are not here to have fun.
And if they don’t agree with this point of view, the doors are open. Ciao!
I no longer want to have superstar behaviour.
