Mike Dean is at it again
Mike Dean is a man who always manages to find himself in the headlines.
The official made the north London derby all about him, and now, after officiating during Newcastle vs Wolves, the same thing happened.
Dean ended up being one of the top trends in the UK after the first half.
He managed to incur the wrath of Rafa Benitez and all of the Newcastle fans after sending off DeAndre Yedlin.
Yedlin tugged down Diogo Jota, and Dean had no doubts it was a straight red card.
Obviously the Wolves fans agreed, and so did a fair amount of the neutral supporters watching.
Dean also managed to totally miss the incident between Jamaal Lascelles and Adama Traore, with Lascelles pushing Traore to the floor.
It’s never ideal when both sets of supporters think you’ve had a nightmare game, but welcome to the world of Mike Dean.
This is mike dean, give him a second to make the whole game about him and that’s exactly what he will do

Mike Dean could easily have given a free kick in Yedlin’s favour there as he was tugged back first. Fine margins.

That’s not a red – the fellow running back was level with him. Yellow card and that’s fair but it’s the Mike Dean show.
