Newcastle United are set to open talks with Young Boys forward Yannick Toure after club decided to make a move for the 17-year-old.
The forward is highly rated and even has the likes of Arsenal and Juventus tracking him, but with little funding available to Rafa Benitez this winter and serious issues up top, the club are looking at other avenues and think that Toure could well be one for the future, even if he’s not the right player for the current moment.
The young star would be available for the compensation fee FIFA set for him, with a new deal yet to be signed with his current club, something Newcastle see as a huge plus in any potential deal.

One thing Benitez can testify to being is frustrated, with the Newcastle boss making it clear he wants more from Mike Ashley.
There has been yet more takeover speculation at the club, and it seems that Benitez has once again asked for money and certain players, with the club failing to deliver.
Quite if this will keep Newcastle up or even convince the manager he should stay at the club remains to be seen, and the opinion of the fans in terms of the owner has not changed for some time and after the latest revelations that the club will be looking for loan deals and not buying players to aid their survival in the Premier League, it seems that will not be changing any time soon.
