Bruce appointed Newcastle boss
Rafael Benitez left Newcastle last month after three successful seasons at the club.
Benitez did not sign a new contract with the Magpies, and instead chose to move to China.
Now, two and a half weeks after Benitez’s contract expired on June 30th, Newcastle have finally announced their new boss.
That man is ex-Sheffield Wednesday manager, Steve Bruce.
Newcastle United can now announce that Steve Bruce has been appointed as the club’s new head coach.

It’s safe to say that some Newcastle fans aren’t too impressed with their new manager.
“He is an absolute disgrace. I don’t want him anywhere near the club”

Bruce’s first signing?
On the same day that Bruce was announced as Newcastle boss, the North-East outfit have been linked with a new forward.
According to Sky Sports, Newcastle are in talks with Hoffenheim over the transfer of Joelinton.
Joelinton was left out of Hoffenheim’s pre-season clash on Wednesday, and is believed to be in concrete talks with a Premier League club.
The 22-year-old striker would score seven and assist seven in 28 Bundesliga appearances this past season.
