Premier League return for Bolasie?
Newcastle and Southampton have begun talks with Everton over the signing of outcast Yannick Bolasie, with the Toffees valuing him at £7million.
It’s not been a great couple of years for Bolasie.
The winger signed for Everton in a deal worth £25 million back in 2016 after impressing with Crystal Palace.
Bolasie did initially impress at Goodison Park, sparking up somewhat of a connection with striker Romelu Lukaku.
However, Bolasie suffered an anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus injury during a clash with Manchester United in December 2016.
Bolasie didn’t return to action until 12 months later, though he never quite recaptured the form that he had shown early in his Everton career.
That led to his departure on loan to Aston Villa at the beginning of the 2018/19 season.
That loan was cut short in the January transfer window, before Bolasie joined Anderlecht in another loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Now, he’s set to leave Everton this summer, with both Newcastle and Southampton interested.
Where will Bolasie end up next season?
According to a report by Goal, Everton value Bolasie at a mere £7 million.
That has alerted both Southampton and Newcastle to his availability.
Their report claims that both clubs have already opened talks with Everton over a summer transfer.
However, they aren’t the only ones interested.
A host of European clubs are also exploring the possibility of signing Bolasie.
They come in the form of Besiktas, Galatasaray and Lille.
With that in mind, both Newcastle and Southampton will have a battle on their hands to sign Bolasie this summer.
