Nacho Monreal is reportedly on the verge of completing a move to La Liga club Real Sociedad.
Unai Emery admitted after his side’s defeat to Liverpool that Monreal leaving Arsenal was a possibility.
Now, the Spanish defender has been tipped to join the Basque Country club in the next 48 hours.

Spanish journalist, Txema Oliden, has revealed:
Tomorrow, at the latest the day after tomorrow, the arrival of Monreal to the Real Sociedad will be made official.
The 33-year-old’s six-year stint at the Emirates looks set to come to a close, with a return to Spain expected.
The Spaniard has one year left on his contract, and the Gunners have an option to extend that by an additional year.
But, Monreal is expected to fall down the pecking order upon the return of both Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney.
Kolasinac has had issues off the pitch regarding his safety of late, whilst new signing Tierney is recovering from an injury.
For now, Emery still counts on Monreal, and could even play him against Tottenham Hotspur next Sunday.
Therefore, offloading the defender this week could prove to be a real gamble from the Gunners.
Talks between Arsenal and Sociedad to take place today
Despite Arsenal’s current left-back situation, talks are still expected to take place today with Sociedad, according to El Diario Vasco.
The Basque Country club are ready to offer Monreal a two-year contract, as they see him as a good addition to their young defence.
Sociedad believe he will offer them both experience and versatility, with his ability to play at full-back and as a central defender.
