Naby Keita is injured for Liverpool vs Bayern Munich

Liverpool vs Bayern Munich

Liverpool will face Bayern Munich in Germany on Wednesday for the second leg of their Champions League tie.

Manchester United and Tottenham have already secured their place in the quarter-final with Man City and Liverpool looking to make it four out of four for English teams this week.

The Reds will not be too confident heading into the second leg though.

They drew the first leg 0-0 at Anfield and now must win in Munich.

Winning away in Europe is something Jurgen Klopp’s side have struggled to do this season.

They lost all three of their away UCL group games this season.

Naby Keita to miss out

Heading into the game it was revealed Liverpool will be without one of their top summer signings.

Naby Keita had a slow start to life at Liverpool but has recently begun to improve.

Unfortunately, Keita has not travelled to Munich for the second leg due to a minor injury problem.

Liverpool do have some good news heading into the game though as Trent Alexander-Arnold will be available.

The right-back looked in some pain as he was subbed off this past weekend vs Burnley.

Dejan Lovren could also play a part on Wednesday but is unlikely to manage the full 90 minutes.
