Fekir moving on with his career
Lyon star Nabil Fekir has called for questions over his failed Liverpool move to stop, claiming ‘there are things that must be accepted.’
The Frenchman was fully expected to join Liverpool before the World Cup in Russia but that move fell through.
Then after the competition, it was again expected that the player would join Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Though, despite a move seemingly being revived after the competition, it fell through again.
That was even after the player reportedly undertook his welcome interview and medical.
Time for the questions to stop
Now, even despite the move falling through, Fekir is still being asked about it.
A couple of weeks ago the player was talking about the move, explaining it was ‘ancient history’.
“Yes, the failed Liverpool move has been totally digested,” he explained, as quoted by ESPN.
“These things can happen. That is how it is. You have to move on — it is ancient history.”
When you read that, you would think that is the end of that until at least the January transfer window.
However, that doesn’t look to be the case after Fekir was asked about the move again this week.

Now, he’s taking a sterner view with the media and has claimed that ‘we must stop at this’ in regards to questions over the failed move.
He also revealed that the failed move is ‘straight out’ of his head.
‘What happened with Liverpool is straight out of my head, I turned the page,’ Fekir explained this week, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
‘We must not stop at this, we must move forward. There are things that must be accepted.’
