Victor Lindelof starts, no Eric Bailly
At the back for United, Swedish international Victor Lindelof was selected in the starting line-up.
There was no room for Eric Bailly in the matchday squad.
For the record, there has been no report that Bailly is carrying an injury.
It’s unclear why the Ivory Coast defender has missed out.
There was also no room for Luke Shaw in the United matchday squad against the Gunners. Anthony Martial, tipped to leave Old Trafford, had to settle for a spot on the bench once again.
Mkhitaryan returns for Arsenal
While Alexis Sanchez was in the Man United XI to face Arsenal for the first time, Henrikh Mkhitaryan made his return for the Gunners at his former employers too.
