Bookies now place Jose Mourinho odds on to be sacked by Christmas

Big problems for Mourinho

Jose Mourinho is now odds on favourite to be sacked.

The manager could be gone by Christmas, but in news that will alarm Man United fans, is also 8/1 to be gone by the weekend.

Even fans who want Mourinho out would be concerned by the state of the club. Not to mention the fact they’re going to be moving on to their fourth manager since the days of Sir Alex Ferguson if Mourinho does get the boot.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s hardly the start to a season United fans will have wanted and with tensions continuing to rise at Old Trafford. We don’t think it’ll be long until Jose’s given the boot.”

Tensions with players

It also looks like the tensions between Mourinho and some players are reaching boiling point.

Mourinho and Paul Pogba looked at loggerheads in training.

It seems it could be a case of one or the other.

However, with these odds, the bookies certainly look like backing Pogba to win the battle and outlast his manager.
