Jose Mourinho reveals the Liverpool player he loved during Man United loss

Mourinho is a big fan

Jose Mourinho may feel his Manchester United side are lacking in many areas, but there’s one Liverpool player he loves.

Andy Robertson is a favourite of the Liverpool fans – and Mourinho made it clear just how much he likes the defender.

He spoke with the press following United’s defeat, and admitted he thinks the work-rate put in by Robertson is impressive.

The full back has been incredible for Liverpool since being bedded in by Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds have a slight issue with their defence at the moment with Joe Gomez out, and Joel Matip joining him.

However, they’re still solid at the back, and despite an Alisson Becker mistake today, didn’t really look like conceding a second goal.

United players are a class below

One thing that was painfully evident is the United players are a clear class below the Liverpool ones.

Liverpool are the league leaders, and in any other season, would be running away with the title.

However, Manchester City are matching them.

The Reds are now a massive 19 points ahead of Man United and Mourinho has admitted the title is impossible.

He did add the top four could still happen, but would be hard.

Jurgen Klopp’s men meanwhile have one more league game before Christmas, and could well be top of the table as they sit down to Christmas lunch.
