Match of the Day running order: Gameweek 6 Saturday
In keeping with the season so far, Saturday featured some incredible football and goals in the Premier League.
With there European football to come this week, there will be much for Match of the Day to analyse this evening.
Match of the Day will be shown on Saturday night, September 23, 2017, at 22.25 on BBC One. And, is replayed on Sunday morning on BBC Two.
Manchester City 5 – Crystal Palace 0 is on first on MOTD
The first game on Match of the Day this evening is Manchester City’s 5-0 rout of Crystal Palace.
It was expected Manchester City would win big, but the majority of the goals came in the second half. Not for the first time, City’s incredible squad paid dividends.
Second on Match of the Day is Liverpool’s 3-2 win at Leicester, that was certainly full of incredible goals and The Foxes undoubtedly played their part.
The early game on Saturday is third: West Ham 2 – Tottenham 3. As Spurs grabbed revenge for two successive Premier League defeats away at the Hammers.
Chelsea & Man United fans will have to wait…
Chelsea’s fine 4-0 win at Stoke, including an Alvaro Morata hat-trick is not on until fourth on Match of the Day.
And, Manchester United’s 1-0 win at Southampton is on fifth on Match of the Day.
Some further fine matches are on late on Match of the Day – with Everton’s comeback win over Bournemouth. Followed by Watford’s victory at Swansea.
No surprises for who is last on Match of the Day: The goalless draw between Burnley and Huddersfield.
