Molde give Solskjaer to Man United blessing
After an awful start to the season, Jose Mourinho was sacked as Manchester United boss in December of 2018.
With Mourinho departed, United decided to appoint former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their interim boss till the end of the season.
Solskjaer is also currently the manager of Norwegian side Molde and was expected to return to them at the end of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.
However, Solskjaer has had a superb start to life at United boss and remains unbeaten across all competitions.
Solskjaer is also getting the best out of United’s previously underperforming players such as Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford.
As a result, Solskjaer could be in contention to land the permanent United job in the summer.
However, this is seemingly not a problem for Molde as their owner previously told Solskjaer to go to United and not come back:
“When I [Solskjaer] rang the owner and said United had called and that he always knew that this had been my dream, he said: ‘Go over, enjoy yourself — and please don’t come back.
“Both owners wished me all the best because they knew this is something I dreamed about.” As quoted by ESPN.

Solskjaer’s latest test as United boss saw his side take on Leicester City on Sunday.
United started the day in 6th place but could have moved up to 5th with a win or draw vs the Foxes.
Man United began the game brightly with Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford linking up to provide the opening goal.
