Back and forth
Footballing super agent Mino Raiola has responded to claims from Pep Guardiola that he offered Paul Pogba to Manchester City in January.
This saga started late in the afternoon on Friday after Guardiola’s embargoed comments were published early.
The Man City boss was discussing his feud with Mino Raiola who recently called the manager a ‘coward’ and a ‘dog’.
While talking about how he dislikes him, he also revealed some very interesting information.
He claimed that Raiola offered Manchester United star Paul Pogba to City back in the January transfer window.
The Frenchman has had issues with Jose Mourinho but no one expected it to have gone this far.
Two months ago he offered me Mkhitaryan and Pogba to play with us. Why? Guardiola explained today.
“Why he offer? Was he interested in Mkhitaryan and Pogba to play with us?
Now, the super agent, who also represents Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has responded.
He has claimed that he didn’t offer him to Guardiola, rather the club he worked for.
Even still, this seems to be almost a confirmation that Pogba did look for a way out.
“I never spoke to him. And that I offer players not to him but to Manchester City,” Raiola said.
“Which is a fantastic club with a fantastic manager.
“Who I talk about I will not comment, that I leave to the club’s responsibility and account.”

Raiola isn’t the only man who has responded to the claims from Guardiola.
The player himself, Paul Pogba, has had his own say on social media.
This certainly does give the impression that even he doesn’t know what’s going on.
