Mino Raoila hints Zlatan may snub Manchester United

According to Expressen, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has hinted that the player may not sign for Manchester United, stating “We have not decided anything yet. I think it will be a surprise in the end.”

A lot of newspapers reports have suggested recently that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is very close to signing for Manchester United, especially following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as boss. According to many reports, the Swedish striker is set to rejoin Jose Mourinho – after previously playing under him at Inter Milan – as Manchester United’s first summer signing. The two (Zlatan and Jose) are still close friends, who speak on a daily basis, according to Zlatan. However, Mino Raiola believes we could see a surprise in where Zlatan choses to play next season.

“We have not decided anything yet. I think it will be a surprise in the end. All harping only on United, United, United, that’s why I do not talk to anyone anymore for all journalists asking the wrong questions.” said Raiola

According to Raiola, Zlatan is yet to decide where he wants to go and has had a lot of interest from some big clubs.

“There are some clubs in England, a few clubs in Europe, clubs outside Europe, but everyone assumes that he must go to Manchester United, but it is not true” Raiola stated

Wherever he goes, it will be interesting to see if he has the same impact he’s had everywhere else he’s played in his career. The player is now 34-years-old and although class is permanent, age plays a factor in any footballer’s playing career.
