Paris Saint Germain star Thomas Meunier has named one player better than Neymar and it isn’t someone you would necessarily expect.
The Belgian is a starter for both PSG and his national team and that has allowed him to see one player better than his current teammate.
Neymar joined the French giants in the summer in an incredible deal after the club triggered the players Barcelona release clause.
The Brazilian then moved to the club with Kylian Mbappe following just after, with the two players impressing hugely so far this season.
Though, when asked whether Neymar was actually better than Meunier’s compatriot Eden Hazard, he gave an interesting answer.
“Hazard, without a doubt,” he explained.
“Eden is an exceptional player, and he has recently shown that against Cyprus.”
“It’s a big one that has grown older in the course of time. He is always in charge of the collective. ”
Not only was the Belgian given that difficult question (or not in his case), he was asked another.
This time, it was whether he would rather win the Champions League or guide Belgian to a World Cup trophy.
Once again, the player responded without any doubt in his mind.
“Your own country, that’s something different.”
“Winning the Champions League is beautiful, but winning with your country is something else. “
Hazard is the better player. De Bruyne is in the better form. Life is simple, don’t complicate it

While PSG are no doubt performing just fine, Meunier could have a new manager soon.
That is because the rumours linking Mourinho to the Paris side are refusing to go away.
The Portuguese manager was supposedly talking up a move but that was refuted.
Now, reports claim that PSG have a secret weapon to bring Mourinho to Paris.
