Happy at Chelsea
Chelsea fans will be thrilled at the latest comments from manager Maurizio Sarri, who noted that while Courtois has left the club, Eden Hazard will not be following him out the door.
Courtois made it clear in his press conference he would love to see Hazard in Madrid, yet the Chelsea boss poured cold water on those claims, and noted that Hazard will remain at the club for a long time.
He added that he’s spoken to Hazard on many occasions now, and the player has never expressed a desire to leave.
Sarri on Courtois’s presser: “I don’t know, I think there were some personal reasons and I can not go into personal reason. Hazard is with us, I think indefinitely. There’s not a problem, I have spoken to him 3 or 4 times about everything and he never spoke of the market” #CFC

Courtois at Real Madrid
Of course, Courtois is now a Real Madrid player, and while losing the stopper was a blow to Chelsea, they didn’t waste any time making sure they had a younger player lined up – and smashed the world record fee in terms of goalkeepers landing Kepa.
The Blues are now set to attempt to navigate the Europa League and get back into the top four of the Premier League under their new manager – and will have to do that with Kepa between the sticks.
