Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has admitted that contract talks between the club and Eden Hazard are ongoing each week.
The Italian coach also revealed that a new deal is currently on the table for the player to sign whenever he is ready.
The Daily Mail claim the offer is worth £300k-per-week although Hazard is first waiting to understand Real Madrid’s stance.
Sarri on Hazard: “The club is available to sign a new contract immediately”
The Belgian remains undecided over a “dream” move to Madrid or committing his future to the West London club.
The forward has a club record deal on the table but is currently undecided over whether to sign the contract.
“It’s up to him. The club is available to sign a new contract immediately but it’s up to him if he wants to renew.
“I want Eden here, of course, but I want him here if he wants to stay here.
“I know very well that there are discussions between the club and the manager of Eden every week.”
Sarri keen to keep David Luiz and Cesc Fabregas
Meanwhile, Sarri is also keen for Chelsea to keep hold of both David Luiz and Cesc Fabregas.
The duos’ contracts expire in the summer and they are both eyeing new long-term contracts.
However, the Stamford Bridge club only offer players over the age of 30 with 12-month deals.
The former SSC Napoli manager is hopeful the club will find a resolution and tie Luiz and Fabregas down to new deals.
“I know very well it’s not easy. But I think that we can do a new deal for both.
“The club want a short contract and the players want a long contract so it’s difficult.
“I think at the end we can find a solution.
“David and Cesc are leaders.
“I think it’s very important for me, for the staff, also for their team-mates, if they stay with us.
“It’s very difficult to find a centre-back for this level, and it’s very difficult to find a central midfielder technically like Fabregas.”
