No late transfer window moves
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has seemingly ruled out a move for Eden Hazard before the summer transfer window closes after links with Real Madrid.
The Belgian has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu for a while now and this summer has been no different after Cristiano Ronaldo left Madrid.
Though, the English transfer window has closed and that would make any exit extremely difficult for Hazard.
Chelsea would be unable to replace the player until the January transfer window and that is the main reason why Sarri thinks he will stay.
‘I think Eden will stay with us for all of the season’
He explained in his press conference today that ‘such an important club’ cannot afford to sell a player of his quality and not replace him.
“Eden is ready for 50-60 minutes,” he explained when asked about when Hazard will return to action.
“I don’t know for 90 minutes, but he can start. I am happy with him.
“He wants to play. It’s the right way to think for him, but I have to think for everybody.
“I am the coach of a very good team. I am the coach of a very great club.
“It’s so important that such an important club cannot sell a very important player without the possibility to buy another very important player at the same level.
“I think Eden will stay with us for all of the season.”
