Arsenal vs Rennes
Can Arsenal progress through to the quarterfinals of the Europa League?
The Gunners have a major job on their hands having lost 3-1 at Rennes last week.
Arsenal were well below-par in France, despite Unai Emery’s side going ahead through Alex Iwobi.
The Gunners imploded are Sokratis was sent off.
Benjamin Bourigeaud levelled, a Nacho Monreal own goal put Rennes ahead, while Ismaila Sarr’s third put the icing on the cake.
Matteo Guendouzi out, Henrikh Mkhitaryan in
On Thursday the Times predict how Arsenal will line up against Rennes tonight.
Lucas Torreira is certain to start in midfield as the Uruguayan is banned from domestic action right now.
Torreira was slapped with a three game ban in the league after he was sent off against Tottenham.
As Torreira will start, French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is set to be left out of the XI.
Guendouzi will probably be named on the bench, while Granit Xhaka starts instead.
Elsewhere, Arsenal confirmed this week that Henrikh Mkhitaryan is nursing a “mild back problem”.
In good news, Mkhitaryan took part in Arsenal’s first team training session on Wednesday.
The Times believe that the Armenian will be fit to start for the Gunners.

Emery is also expected to play both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from the get-go.
Mesut Ozil is also tipped to be in the eleven, while Iwobi and Aaron Ramsey may start on the bench.
