Mats Hummels crowns Stoke City star the ‘Twitter King’
Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels has today revealed which footballer he rates as the ‘Twitter King’, during a fan Q&A on the social media platform.
Bavarians’ stopper
German international Hummels, who made the move to Bayern from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2016, has long been regarded as a brilliant character both on and off the pitch.
And the latter of these traits was showcased earlier today, when Hummels opened himself up to a Twitter Q&A, during which he answered questions on a wide variety of topics, including what other position he would like to try his hand at on the pitch, his favourite Friends character and what video games he enjoys playing.

King
However, the question and subsequent response which has since garnered by far the most attention surrounded who Hummels feels is the King of Twitter.
The Bayern man was provided with two choices, in the form of Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi and Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy.
However, Hummels, while admitting that both players possess undoubted talents on Twitter, instead opted for another Premier League star, as showcased below:
