With both sides enjoying such fine form of late and the tie so evenly poised at 2-2, this should make for a thrilling contest on Wednesday.

Tottenham vs Juventus preview

Spurs are looking to defend their status of undefeated in 2018 as they take on Juventus this Wednesday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have also proven to be a real force at Wembley this season. Losing just twice there in all competitions. Despite visits from Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

On Saturday, Heung-min Son netted a brace to hand Spurs three crucial Premier League points. With the South Korean sending a real message to the Italian side that he is a man to look out for.

Meanwhile, in Serie A this week, Juve left it late to clinch a huge victory in the 93rd minute as the returning Paulo Dybala handed his side all three points against Lazio.

The Old Lady managed to maintain their incredible defensive record and close the gap on first-placed Napoli to just one point.

Tottenham face the daunting task of once again attempting to unlock the back-line of Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

Juventus have conceded just three times in their last 20 games and are yet to concede since these two teams last met.

How Juventus 2 – Tottenham 2 played out

With just nine minutes on the clock in Turin, Tottenham’s Champions League dreams looked to have descended into a nightmare. As a Gonzalo Higuain brace looked to have downed them.

However, in a great showing of guile and determination, Tottenham stepped up to score two past a side that had conceded just once in their previous 16 games.

Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen were on hand for Spurs as the North Londoners netted two hugely valuable away goals to set up a thrilling second-leg tie at Wembley.

Champions League focus: Allegri’s plan

Allegri will be looking to devise a plan to prevent Spurs from taking a hold of the tie as they did for large parts of the first-leg in Turin.

Juventus came out all guns blazing and looked too much for Tottenham to handle. But following Gonzalo Higuain’s second of the evening, the Italian champions invited far too much pressure on to themselves allowing Pochettino’s team a way back into the game.

As the whistle for full-time sounded, Allegri reflected the emotions of the home support. He stormed down the tunnel, hugely disappointed with his side’s carelessness.

The 50-year-old will know how dangerous Tottenham can and have been at the home of English football this season.

Juventus will need to seek a different approach in order to reach the quarter-finals of the competition.
