101 Great Goals’ prediction: Manchester City 3-1 Leicester City

Manchester City to beat Leicester City 3-1 is 17/2 with Paddy Power.

Manchester City are likely to get back to winning ways having failed to win for just the fourth time this season last time out.

Pep Guardiola’s side have also been utterly ruthless at the Etihad this season dropping just two points there in all competitions.

The Foxes, meanwhile, have encountered a tricky spell recently, dropping points in their last two outings.

Manchester City vs Leicester City match preview

Manchester City continue to charge away with the Premier League title, despite their slip up against high-flyers Burnley last Saturday.

A resounding 13 points separates them from the rest of the pack, aided largely by their incredible run of form at home.

Leicester, after their incredible resurgence under Claude Puel, have struggled in recent weeks, losing to Everton and drawing with Swansea City.

Currently sat 8th in the Premier League, the Foxes will know that anything less than defeat on Saturday will be a bonus.

Manchester City: Etihad fortress

In their first home game of the season, Manchester City slumped to a 1-1 draw with Everton at the Etihad, putting together a lacklustre performance.

Twelve games later, they have won every other game at home and look destined to be crowned champions this season, despite it only being early-February.

The Etihad has become a real fortress for the Citizens this season, who have scored a resounding 45 goals whilst conceding just nine.

Having already beaten the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool there, Leicester are sure to face a tricky afternoon in Manchester.

Leicester City: Coping without Riyad Mahrez

The Foxes will seemingly be without their star man Riyad Mahrez on Saturday, with the Algerian having gone AWOL.

City made a late attempt on Transfer Deadline Day to bring the 26-year-old to the Etihad, a move which in the end proved to be unsuccessful.

The player has since failed to show up for training, as the club blocked his dream move to the likely Premier League champions.

Puel’s side must now prove they are able to cope without their number 26, with their form having taken a dip in his absence.
