Leicester vs Swansea: Premier League preview

Leicester City host Swansea City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The Foxes’ six-match unbeaten run came to an end on Wednesday night following a 2-1 defeat at Goodison Park. Jamie Vardy scored a consolation goal from the spot.

Despite the loss, Leicester remain comfortably in the top half of the table.

Swansea are in awesome form!

Swansea’s brilliant form continued on Tuesday night with a well-deserved 3-1 win at home to Arsenal.

Nacho Monreal gave Arsenal the lead against the run of play before Sam Clucas (2) and Jordan Ayew turned things around for Carlos Carvahal’s side.

Tuesday’s win extends Swansea’s unbeaten run in all competitions to six matches and, more importantly, moves them to within a point of temporary safety.

Despite being in the relegation zone, there are as many as six teams with worse away records than Swansea this season.

Leicester won the reverse fixture 2-1 in October. Shinji Okazaki and an own goal from Federico Fernandez gave the Foxes a two-goal lead before Alfie Mawson pulled one back for the Swans.
