Just nine points separates Manchester City from the Premier League title and victory on Saturday would ensure Pep Guardiola’s side remain on track to seal the championship against Manchester United next Saturday.

Whilst Everton are looking to continue their run of two consecutive wins, City are likely to be too much for the Toffees to handle.

Everton vs Man City preview

Despite Everton’s disappointing campaign, they could still yet end on a high by securing European qualification.

Should Southampton fail to win the FA Cup in May, 7th place will be guaranteed a place in next season’s Europa League.

Currently sat in 9th, three points behind Burnley, the Toffees are well in contention to be playing in Europe again next season.

Sixteen points clear of bitter rivals Man United, City are almost there, with potentially two more wins being enough to wrap up the title.

Three points on Meyerside will mean a great deal to the travelling support as it would allow them the chance to finally clinch the title against the Red Devils next week.

Their dominance this season under the guidance of Guardiola has been breathtaking and they will now have their eye on Chelsea’s 2005/06 record points tally of 95.
