Brighton vs Leicester: Premier League preview

Premier League action returns this weekend as Leicester City take on Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex on Saturday.

Brighton begin the weekend in a very respectable 12th position and have a game in hand over the two sides below them.

Prior to the international break, Chris Hughton’s side suffered a 2-0 away defeat at Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

In their last league outing, Brighton lost by the same scoreline at Everton, ending a run of five Premier League matches unbeaten.

Leicester had a number of players on international duty over the last week, including Jamie Vardy who netted for England against Italy.

Leicester won their last match 4-1 at bottom side West Brom. Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, Kelechi Iheanacho and Vicente Iborra all scored for Claude Puel’s side. The win ended a run of five away matches without a victory for the Foxes.

Shinji Okazaki and Harry Maguire were both on the scoresheet in Leicester’s 2-0 home win in August’s reverse fixture at the King Power.
