Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace: Premier League preview

Crystal Palace take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Bournemouth remain 10th in the table following last weekend’s 2-2 draw away at Watford. Eddie Howe’s side twice came from behind to level things up thanks to goals from Josh King and Jermain Defoe.

Bournemouth’s home form has been somewhat disappointing this season. The Cherries have the joint-second worst defensive record at home.

Palace were beaten 2-1 at home to Liverpool last time out. Luka Milivojevic gave Palace the lead from the penalty spot before Liverpool scored two of their own in the second half.

Last weekend’s defeat leaves the Eagles hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone. Roy Hodgson’s side have lost five of their last six matches.

The two sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park in December. Jermain Defoe opened the scoring for the Cherries in the 10th minute, before a flurry of goals from both sides just prior to the half-time break.
