Match of the Day running order: Lineker explains Spurs & Liverpool positions

Match of the Day running order: Saturday March 3, 2018

It is the turn of Swansea to go first on Match of the Day this evening thanks to their fine 4-1 win over West Ham.

Incredibly, considering where they were when Carlos Carvalhal was in charge, Swansea are 13th on Saturday night with 30 points.

The Welsh side romped to a 4-1 win over West Ham on Saturday thanks to goals from Ki Sung-Yeung, Mike van der Hoorn, Andy King and Jordan Ayew.

West Ham bagged a consolation through Michail Antonio but it counts for very little and the Hammers are in big trouble.

Gary Lineker explains on the video below that Swansea are effectively first on Match of the Day thanks to scoring more goals than any other side in the Premier League on Saturday.

Liverpool on second on Match of the Day

The second game on Match of the Day is Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Newcastle.

Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino scored for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Then comes Tottenham’s 2-0 victory over Huddersfield thanks to a Heung Min Son double.

Watford’s 1-0 win over West Brom courtesy of a Troy Deeney goal is fourth on Match of the Day.

Burnley’s 2-1 win over Everton is followed by Leicester’s late draw against Bournemouth.

Match of the Day ends, to no one’s surprise with Southampton 0 – Stoke 0.
