Is Marcus Rashford Man United’s penalty-taker?
Despite an attacking, impressive performance in the first-half at Old Trafford, Chelsea went into the break 1-down to Man United.
Kurt Zouma’s poor tackle on Marcus Rashford handed United a penalty.
Rashford converted the spot-kick with a terrific shot past Chelsea’s Kepa.
Last season, Paul Pogba was the designated penalty-taker for Man United.
However, even though Pogba was on the pitch vs Chelsea, Rashford took responsibility.

Rashford reveals Man United’s penalty strategy
Speaking to MUTV after the Chelsea game, Rashford revealed Man United’s penalty strategy:
I wouldn’t say I’m the penalty-taker.
There’s four or five players that are 100% comfortable being in that situation.
For the keepers it’s more difficult, they don’t know who’s going to take it.
Rashford’s statement means that it’s unclear who will be Man United’s penalty-taker moving forward.
The likeliest position would seem to be that Rashford continues, but alternatively, Pogba could resume those duties.
Man United 4 – Chelsea 0
After Rashford’s first-half opener against the Blues, Chelsea collapsed after the break.
Anthony Martial knocked home the second from close range in the 64th minute, and two minutes later Pogba picked out Rashford with a long ball and it was 3-0.
Debutant Daniel James capped a fabulous afternoon for the home fans with number four late on.
