Next Stamford Bridge boss?
Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has dropped a potential hint on who could take over at the club should Antonio Conte leave at the end of the season.
The Italian has never been comfortable in his job despite an extremely successful first season in which they won the Premier League.
The Chelsea hot seat is notoriously hard to hold down and it looks as though Antonio Conte is about to fall prey to that.
Reports suggest that he could leave at the end of the season, while others suggest that he could be sacked by Roman Abramovich.
Though, attention now turns to who could replace him next season and there are some very big names that keep coming up.
Two of them come in the form of Thomas Tuchel and Luis Enrique.
While the first is likely to joun Bayern Munich, Luis Enrique continues to be linked with Chelsea.
Now, one of his compatriots in Marcos Alonso has claimed that he would be ‘good for any club’.
‘Luis Enrique has shown at Barcelona that he is a great coach with many qualities and I believe he would be good for any club, but I do not know him a lot on a personal level,’ he told Cope.
‘When we face Barcelona in the Camp Nou we will have to put in a perfect performance to progress to the next round, this is clear.
‘We will go to the match with a lot of confidence and belief in what we are capable of doing, especially after the first leg.’
Luis Enrique can kindly stay the fuck away from my club, would rather us keep Conte and battle with the board in the summer window.
