Injury news for Everton
Everton boss Marco Silva has given an injury update on stars Fabian Delph and Bernard ahead of the clash with Norwich this weekend.
The Toffees have had a pretty torrid time with injuries this season.
Andre Gomes recently suffered a horror injury against Tottenham, while summer signing Jean-Philippe Gbamin has only featured twice due to injury.
Fabian Delph has also been in and out of the team with issues, while Bernard has had to sit out for a few weeks after an injury against Brighton.
Now, Marco Silva has given an update on both Bernard and Delph, ahead of the clash with Norwich.
Both players still a doubt
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Silva admitted that both Delph and Bernard are still doubts.
Both players have returned to training, but only in full sessions later in the week.
‘They are still in doubt,’ Silva revealed, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
‘Bernard started to work with the team but in the first days of the week not full sessions.
‘He is getting his minutes and his time in the training session, each day he is doing a little bit more. Let’s see how he will react every day.
‘Fabian Delph is more or less the same thing.
‘We want is to get them better and ready as fast as we can, we are coming into a really tough period for us and we already have some long-term injuries, so it is really important to have the others in good conditions.’
