Good and bad news for Everton
Everton boss Marco Silva has provided an injury update ahead of their clash with West Ham following a couple of international break injuries.
The Toffees went into the international break following a brilliant win over Chelsea at Goodison Park.
Despite really struggling of late, Everton produced a stunning second-half performance to complete an unexpected 2-0 win.
That left fans optimistic about their chance of finishing the season strong after the international break.
However, some injury news over the break led to worries.
Possibly Everton’s most influential player this season, Lucas Digne, had to withdraw from the France national team due to injury.
Though, it was Yerry Mina’s injury with Colombia which has Marco Silva worried this week.
“It is not good news. It is serious”
Mina hasn’t made a great start to life at Goodison.
The Colombian has failed to convince Marco Silva over a starting spot following his summer move.
Now, it looks as though he is set for a spell on the sidelines.
“It is not good news,” he explained, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
“It is serious. It is now good for us as a club.

“It is now for us to support.
“He has had some unlucky moments and bad injuries since he joined the club.
Marco Silva even confirmed that Everton advised Colombia that it would be risky for Mina to play two games on international duty.
“We knew before he went to the national team it would be risky for him to play the two matches,” he continued.
“Our communication with them was in this way. We advised them. It was always a risk for him to play two games in a short period.
“But they have decided and unfortunately Mina is now injured.”
When asked about Lucas Digne’s injury, Silva confirmed that the Frenchman should be available for Saturday.
