Marco Silva claims injured trio could be available for Crystal Palace clash

Triple boost for Everton against Crystal Palace

Everton boss Marco Silva has provided fans with a huge boost this morning by claiming that three of their injured stars could play against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The Toffees haven’t had the best of times with injuries over the past couple of months.

Seamus Coleman, Phil Jagielka, James McCarthy and both summer signings Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes have been on the sidelines.

Though, those injury issues look to be easing up.

Spoilt for choice

That is because boss Marco Silva has revealed that all of James McCarthy, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes could be available for the game against Palace on Sunday.

That could give Everton a whole host of new big players to slot into their starting eleven.

When asked about whether those three could take part in the game, Silva confirmed it’s possible.

“It’s possible, Andre is working hard and he’s completely fit,” he explained in a press conference today.

“Mina is the same situation and James as well.

“James [McCarthy] is a little bit different but he is working hard as well.

“They are in good conditions if I take the decision [to play them].

“It’s a good headache to decide on the starting XI. Everything looks different now, the competition is getting harder and it’s important for us.

“When I have everyone available it will be up to me to choose the solution so we are at our best for each match.

“This is the way when you want to compete.

“The training sessions is seeing more competition between the players and that’s important.”
