Marcelo Bielsa provides update on Leeds quartet – including Rodrigo – ahead of Wolves
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has provided a fitness update on his squad, ahead of their upcoming showdown with Wolves.
Wolves host Leeds
The Whites are set to get their Premier League campaign back underway in a little over 24 hours’ time, in a meeting with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men at Molineux.
Leeds will head into proceedings in search of a bounce-back display, having been downed by Arsenal in convincing fashion last time out.
This leaves Bielsa’s outfit back in the bottom half of the English top-flight table, ahead of tomorrow’s clash.

One place below Leeds as things stand, though, are their hosts on Friday.
Wolves have been in largely hit-and-miss form of late, having managed two wins, two draws and two defeats from the club’s last 6 across all competitions. Their latest result did prove of a positive nature, though, with Nuno and co. having fought back from a goal down to get the better of Southampton at St. Mary’s last weekend.
Rodrigo ruled out/Llorente available
As such, a hard-fought affair likely awaits the visitors to the west Midlands tomorrow night.
And, as outlined above, ahead of his side’s trip to Molineux, Marcelo Bielsa has this evening provided a fitness update on Leeds’ squad.
Fresh news was forthcoming regarding a quartet of stars, in the form of Mateusz Klich, Diego Llorente, Kalvin Phillips and Rodrigo.
And, in a boost for fans of the Whites, the former pair are set to be available for selection, having recovered from respective fitness problems.
Both Phillips and Rodrigo, on the other hand, have been ruled out. When pressed further on a potential return date for the key duo, meanwhile, Bielsa explained:
‘I couldn’t give you a certain answer. Sometimes a response which seems like a formality is the only way I can answer because it’s subject to how they evolve.’
