Gareth Bale

Why Manchester United will pass up the chance to sign Gareth Bale this summer

Manchester United are unlikely to move for Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale for a number of reasons after the player was seemingly made available for transfer.

The Red Devils have long been a linked club to the Welshman and have seemingly looked to move in on the player numerous times.

Now, with the player having been seemingly made available, Manchester United will NOT pursue a deal for Gareth Bale.

The Daily Record cite a number of reasons for this, mainly that Bale would not want to leave the Bernabeu this summer and will look to remain in Spain.

Gareth is the second highest earner at the club and has won three Champions League trophies since joining the club.

Another reason cited is that the owners clearly feel they do not want to contribute to Manchester City and PSG’s willingness to inflate transfer fees.

The club also want to invest elsewhere in the squad and a move for Bale could compromise this.

It is likely that Gareth Bale will not be joining Manchester United this summer.
