Manchester United star admits that Sevilla deserved to win in UCL shock
Deserved
One Manchester United star has admitted today that the side simply deserved to lose against Sevilla after their shock Champions League exit on Tuesday.
The Red Devil’s fell to a 2-1 aggregate defeat after two shock goals from Wissam Ben Yedder in the second half.
Romelu Lukaku did get one goal back but because of the two away goals that Sevilla had, they would have needed another two.

The sporting world was simply shocked by the result, with Man United the heavy favourites going into the game,
Though, midfielder Nemanja Matic has admitted that there are no excuses and that the side simply deserved to lose the game.
‘Of course (it is difficult to take),’ Matic said.
‘We are not happy because we are out of the Champions League.
‘But this is football, we have to accept it and to focus on the next game, which is very important also for us, in the FA Cup.
‘We focus also for the league, but we have to say congratulations to the team, Sevilla. They played really well, and they deserved to go through.’
“There is no excuse. We had a big game, as you know, against Liverpool. We won.
‘With high confidence, we come to play this game, but today they played better than us and they deserved (to win).’
‘We have to forget this. We have to see our mistakes, to see what we have to do better and on Saturday is a new game. Life goes on and this is football, we have to accept that.
I wouldn’t even try to offer up an excuse for United last night.
Woeful – and Mourinho rightly takes the flak.
But I just don’t see the argument that football has passed him by.

One player that Man United fans were simply not happy about during the game was Alexis Sanchez.
He’s simply not shown up in the big games since moving from Arsenal and last night was only the latest of a string of poor performances.
Now, Man United fans have had enough.
