Manchester United could well be about to play Liverpool as part of their pre-season tour come the summer, but won’t be facing Manchester City or even LA Galaxy, who have of course just landed Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the club.
The plans to get players fit and ready following the summer, and of course the World Cup for some, are key for Mourinho and he will want to test out his squad which will have several new arrivals if everything goes to plan for the United boss.
MUFC tour set to be announced nxt week. Looking like they will play Liverpool, possibly at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor (2nd biggest stadium in the world – 107k capacity). Also bound for LA & Miami. No plans to play LA Galaxy despite Zlatan arrival there. No derby v City either

Losing Zlatan has been a blow for United, and Mourinho claimed it’s always sad to see players reach the end of their careers, and Zlatan is no exception.
He also spoke about Luke Shaw, and claimed he has no issues selecting the left back after the pair fell out yet again after Shaw was subbed off at half time against Brighton as United ground out a victory.
The manager knows that he needs all his players on board from now until the end of the season, and even if Mourinho does plan to sell Shaw, he won’t be happy with reports that some players are unhappy with the way he has been treating Shaw, and will want to ensure the squad remain united as they fight for second place in the Premier League and of course the FA Cup.
