Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are preparing a bid for one Real Madrid and Tottenham target in the January transfer window.
That player comes in the form of Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon who is being talked about as the future England left-back.
The player has impressed while in the Championship, so much so that his suitors include Bernabeu side Real Madrid according to the Guardian.
The 17-year-old has plenty of years to improve and is still showing some incredible form despite only being in the early years in his career.
In a huge show of confidence for the player, Manchester United’s bid is said to be in the region of £25million which is a huge sum for a 17-year-old.
Some would say that the move has shades of Luke Shaw who left Southampton in an even bigger deal back in 2014.
The then 18-year-old joined in a deal worth around £31million and that has not exactly gone to plan for the player or the club.
In fact, Ryan Sessegnon is set to join Man United as the replacement for Luke Shaw who could join Newcastle United in the next transfer window.
Tottenham have been the club most closely linked to Sessegnon though and they will not let him get away so easily.
They certainly won’t let Manchester United have him without a fight and we could be in for a bidding war this January.
Ryan Sessegnon’s Championship stats this season:
41.4 passes per 90
74% pass accuracy
20 key passes
28 dribbles won
37 tackles won

Manchester United missed the chance to sign two superstars apparently
While Manchester United are looking to make moves in the January transfer window, it could have been so different for them.
That is because today it has been revealed that the side miss out on signing two superstars for extremely cheap.
Now, they will be cursing their luck over the next few years.
