Four-way battle for Haaland
Manchester United are reportedly one of four teams to bid for Red Bull Salzburg star Erling Braut Haaland ahead of the January transfer window.
Haaland has garnered some huge admirers this season with his performances in the Champions League.
The Norwegian has scored 16 goals in the Austrian Bundesliga, but it is his displays on the top European stage that has made teams sit up and take note.
Haaland scored in all but one of his Champions League group games, drawing a blank in the final game against Liverpool.
He’s also the second top scorer in the competition, having scored eight goals.
Now, as a result of his performances, Haaland is being linked with a big move.
However, they are reportedly not the only two battling it out to sign Haaland.

Man United, Leipzig, Juventus & Dortmund all submit bids
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, all of Manchester United, Juventus, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund have bid for Haaland.
There’s no mention of how much they have bid, but it obviously won’t be a small fee.
Romano then goes on to explain that Haaland will now sit down with his family and agent Mino Raiola to decide which offer to accept.
It’s also suggested that Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows Haaland would only accept a move if it means he’s the starting striker.
That could be key, with Juventus unlikely to offer him that, considering their attacking options.
Timo Werner is also the star striker at RB Leipzig.
Man United should be able to offer him regular playing time, and also a manager who trusts him in Solskjaer.
Håland situation, right now…
Bid from Man United.
Bid from Juventus.
Bid from Leipzig.
Bid from Borussia Dortmund.
He’s going to decide soon with his family and Raiola.
Ole knows he wants to play. He wants to be a starter.
That will be the key of his next move.
