Manchester United injury update ahead of Fulham

Fulham vs Man United

Man United travel Fulham in Saturday’s early kick-off.

United head into the game on a 10-game unbeaten run under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer across all competitions.

Manchester United begin the weekend in 5th place but could very well move into a top-four spot with a win over Fulham.

They are just two points behind 4th place Chelsea who have the daunting task of facing Man City on Sunday.

However, should United lose or draw vs Fulham they could slip back down to 6th place.

As for Fulham, they head into the game 19th in the league and a worrying seven points from safety.

Fulham will remain in 19th place no matter the outcomes of Saturday’s game with United.

Manchester United injury update

Heading into the Fulham game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an injury update on his players.

In the five games he has played this season in the league, Antonio Valencia has been United’s captain.

But the full-back is currently out injured and will remain that way for at least a few more weeks.

Fellow full-back Matteo Darmian will also be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

Solskjaer also gave an update on Marcos Rojo:

“Rojo has been training for a few days, so he’s back in training.

”But we’ve lost Antonio and Matteo through niggles for a couple of weeks.

“We’re still not bad. We’ve got 20-21 players training every day, so that’s good.”As Quoted by Manchester United’s official website.
