Manchester United injury boosts before Huddersfield

Triple injury boost for Manchester United

Manchester United have been handed several injury boosts ahead of their Super Sunday clash with Huddersfield this weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær has struggled in recent weeks despite a very impressive start to his Man United career.

The Norwegian was untouchable all the way up to the second clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

After that brilliant comeback, it’s not been so easy for the Red Devils.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side have only won one of their last six games, with four of those being losses.

With Huddersfield next up, Manchester United will be looking to get back to winning ways.

Now, the Red Devils have been handed an injury boost ahead of the clash at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Several stars back in training

That is because a number of injured stars have now returned to training ahead of the clash.

One of the most notable returns is Antonio Valencia who has been out with injury for some time now.

The defender last played all the way back at the beginning of January against Newcastle.

Now, with Valencia returning to training, he could be given a farewell game with the Ecuadorian set to leave this summer.

There were also two other notable inclusions.

They come in the form of Marcus Rashford and Phil Jones.

Starting with Rashford, the forward suffered a suspected shoulder injury in the clash with Chelsea.

As a result, he was an early doubt for the game on Sunday.

However, he was spotted in training on Wednesday as was Phil Jones, who also suffered an injury recently.
