Making moves ahead of January
Manchester United are said to be in talks with Galatasaray in hope of completing a deal for one of their defenders with Jose Mourinho in the market for one.
It’s no secret that many of Man United’s problems this season have been due to their defensive frailties.
That was there for everyone to see when they faced Valencia on Wednesday evening.
The Old Trafford side fell to a 2-1 defeat and one of the goals they conceded were of significant interest.
That is because Phil Jones turned the ball into his own net, past the onrushing Sergio Romero.
Jones isn’t the only one that hasn’t impressed this season either.
Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly have all had off moments throughout the campaign with Victor Lindelöf possibly their best one right now but has struggled with injury.
It has been made clear recently that Jose Mourinho would like a central defender and it looks as though the club are making sure he gets one.

Arsenal to get beaten to the finish
That is because the club are reportedly in talks with Galatasaray over their defender Ozan Kabak.
The 18-year-old has impressed in Turkey and would command a price of around €20million.
It is said he held talks with the club over the signing of Kabak in January.
Kabak is said to be target for both Arsenal and United’s rivals Manchester City.
With that in mind, the player could be the perfect player to solve Mourinho’s defensive woes.
