Matuidi’s time at Juventus
32-year-old Blaise Matuidi has enjoyed a rather successful career for both club and country.
Matuidi would move to PSG in 2011 from St. Etienne, and go on to rack up a staggering 295 appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants.
In those 295 games, Matuidi would score 33 and assist 30. He would also win four Ligue 1 titles and a plethora of domestic cups.
Matuidi then joined Juventus in August of 2017, for a fee believed to be around £22.5m.
Matuidi has enjoyed similar success in Turin, winning two Serie A titles and two domestic cups.
The midfielder also won the 2018 World Cup with France in Russia.

Despite his age, Matuidi would feature 42 times across all competitions this past season.
However, the Frenchman may well find himself pushed out of the first-team picture in 2019/20, should he remain at Juventus.
The reason for this is because Juventus have already signed fellow central midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot this summer.
Looking at a recent report, though, it seems like Matuidi will not be short of options, should he choose to leave Italy in the current window.
According to French outlet, Le Parisien, several clubs from both France and England are interested in Matuidi.
PSG are said to be keen on a reunion with their former midfielder, while both Lyon and Monaco are also credited with an interest in Matuidi.
The report from Le Parisien also claims that both Everton and Manchester United have shown an interest in Matuidi.
