Where will Jorginho be next season?
Napoli midfielder Jorginho has really impressed during his four years in Serie A but his time in Italy looks to be drawing to a close.
The Brazilian midfielder is a wanted man and he has some pretty exciting options to choose from.
According to UOL Esporte (Brazil), Jorginho’s representatives have met with a number of top Premier League clubs including the Champions, Manchester City.
Jorginho will surely leave Napoli at the end of the season and it is only a question of which Premier league team he will join.
Napoli believe that the 26 year old is worth in the region of £60 million. (Manchester Evening news)
Where will Jorginho go?
Jorginho is a solid defensive midfielder who has an eye for goal. He even scored against Manchester City earlier in the season for Napoli in the Champions League.
Pep Guardiola has identified Jorginho as a replacement for Fernandinho who turned 33 on Friday.
Manchester United would also like to sign him but their interest surely depends on whether or not Marouane Fellaini signs a new contract at Old Trafford.
Jorginho’s best suitors are surely between Liverpool and Arsenal.
Arsenal could do with a new central defensive midfielder (along with a new player for almost every position) but Jorginho surely wouldn’t want to sign for a team playing in the Europa League.
Arsenal will need a huge-name manager if they would like to attract big name players to the club.
Liverpool seems to be Jorginho’s most likely destination.
The Champions League finalists definitely do not need to improve their strike force but their defence has really let them down this season.
Emre Can could leave the club in the summer and he would need to be replaced with someone just as good, which Jorginho certainly is.
First of all, Klopp must see to his actual defence but I predict that Jorginho will be at Anfield next season.
