Manchester City hit Watford for six in the FA Cup final – official goal videos

Manchester City confirm the domestic treble!

Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City side have created English footballing history.

Manchester City became the first men’s team ever to complete the domestic treble on Saturday, as they absolutely walloped Watford 6-0.

The first leg of the treble was far from simple as Chelsea were overcome on penalties in the Carabao Cup final.

Then came the Premier League title chase that will live long in the memory, as both Manchester City and Liverpool kept winning.

Eventually Manchester City won the Premier League on 98 points, a magnificent feat on its own (even if they did claim 100 points last season!)

The FA Cup final went a lot more swimmingly…

David Silva grabs the opener on 26

A rare Manchester City goal that involved two headers saw the Premier League champions take the lead.

David Silva lashed the ball home with his left foot, thanks to a Raheem Sterling assist.

Raheem Sterling makes it 2-0!

The second goal came seven minutes before half-time and effectively ended the match as a contest.

Gabriel Jesus stole in at the back post, leaving Raheem Sterling with the easiest of finishes.

Kevin De Bruyne scores six minutes after coming on

Ten minutes into the second-half, Manchester City claimed a third through substitute Kevin De Bruyne.

A trademark breakaway from City saw Gabriel Jesus play in KDB. The Belgian side-footed past Heurelho Gomes for 3-0.

The fourth was a replica of the third, as Kevin De Bruyne played in Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazilian made no mistake to slot past his fellow countryman Gomes on the latter’s final professional appearance.

Raheem Sterling makes it 5-0

Manchester City just did not let up in the final minutes of the match.

On 81, Bernardo Silva did what he does best and created a goal for Raheem Sterling.
