Man United’s Marcus Rashford should be ‘fully fit’ for West Brom clash

Man United vs West Brom

Manchester United are set to return to action on Saturday evening.

The Red Devils’ first game post-international break will see them play host to West Brom at 8 pm UK time on the 21st of November.

United head into the tie on the back of a pretty poor start to the campaign.

Yes, they did manage impressive wins over both PSG and RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have also been downed by Istanbul Basaksehir in Europe, as well as falling to defeat in three of their seven league outings.

Such poor form has left United languishing in 14th in the Premier League table, though they do hold a game in hand on the majority of the sides around them.

As for West Brom, they are currently the lowest scorers in the English top-flight, and have failed to pick up a single win in 2020/21.

Rashford fit enough to face West Brom

Ahead of their side’s meeting with West Brom, Man United fans have no doubt been sweating over the fitness of Marcus Rashford.

The forward was supposed to link up with England for the latest international break, but missed out due to an injury picked up vs Everton:

However, Rashford’s injury doesn’t appear to have been too serious.

According to Laurie Whitwell of the Athletic, speaking on the latest edition of the Talk of the Devils podcast, Rashford should be fully fit for Saturday’s clash:

I think the shoulder issue that forced him off at the end of the game against Everton was always likely to be a difficult one to manage during the international break. So, the withdrawal didn’t surprise me so much. But I do feel like with a couple of weeks off, he should be fully fit for the West Brom game.
