Man United’s fans are convinced Marcus Rashford is not fit

 

Manchester United’s supporters have flooded to social media this evening, to call into question whether Marcus Rashford should even be on the pitch in their side’s meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are of course currently locked in action with the Seagulls at Old Trafford.

The clash marks United’s first on the back of the international break, with the Red Devils having headed into proceedings aiming to further solidify their position in 2nd in the English top-flight.

As things stand at the Theatre of Dreams, however, things are not going at all according to plan for the hosts.

With 45 minutes played, United trail by a goal to nil, having looked completely off the pace thus far.

The game’s scoring was opened inside the opening quarter of an hour, when, after connecting with Neal Maupay’s wicked delivery from the right, Danny Welbeck followed up to nod home on the rebound versus his former club:

The manner of Manchester United’s display, meanwhile, has understandably seen a number of the club’s star men singled out for criticism.

The likes of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba have both toiled in their creative efforts, with Brighton, all told, having simply looked a more complete outfit to this point.

None, though, has looked more off the pace than Marcus Rashford.

The English hitman was of course sent home from international duty early last week, amid struggles to shake off an ankle problem.

This evening, though, it has appeared evident that Rashford is still not operating at even close to full capacity.

And the United faithful, in turn, have flooded to social media, with many, as outlined above, having called into question why their gifted wide-man is on the pitch at all:
