The latest social media activity on the part of Manchester United defender Brandon Williams has piqued widespread attentions late on Saturday night.
This comes, unsurprisingly, as the 22-year-old reacts to United’s ‘noisy neighbours’ clinching long-awaited glory on the continent.
Owing to a 1-0 downing of Italian giants Inter Milan, Man City secured a first-ever Champions League title.
Not only that, but, in the process, Pep Guardiola’s side equalled their arch rivals’ historic treble achievement of 1999.

And, safe to say, this achievement has not gone down at all well with one current member of the first-team setup at Old Trafford.
The player in question? Brandon Williams.
Insinuating that the Sky Blues’ achievement is a less notable one owing to the fact that United managed as much first, the 22-year-old posted:
‘Nobody wants a sloppy seconds’

And Williams was not done there, following up with a dig at Rio Ferdinand, after the ex-Red Devils star publicly congratulated several members of Pep Guardiola’s squad as part of his punditry role on BT Sport:
‘@rioferdy5 Bet you don’t congratulate if you was player keeep the same morals. too face are boring’
