Man United’s Anthony Martial injury blow after Arsenal

Martial’s impressive season

Manchester United are having a very poor start to the season.

They are eight points off a Champions League place and 18 points off league leaders, Manchester City.

They have also failed to pick up a win in their last four league games.

Despite United’s poor start to the season, Anthony Martial has enjoyed a successful start to the campaign.

The Man United winger has now scored seven in his last eight Premier League appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side and has been by far their best player this season.

Martial injury blow vs Arsenal

Martial’s good form would continue on Wednesday vs Arsenal. Arsenal would take the lead in the 27th minute.

However, Martial would pull United level just three minutes later.

Alexander Lacazette would then make it 2-1 to Arsenal before Jesse Lingard brought United back on level terms.

The game would finish 2-2 and considering United’s poor form, a draw vs an Arsenal side now unbeaten in 20 games is not bad.

One major blow coming out of the game though is Martial’s suspected injury.

Martial was replaced by Romelu Lukaku in the 63rd minute and it is believed the Frenchman has a suspected hamstring injury.

Given Martial has been United’s only decent attacker for most of the season, losing him for any period of time would be a big blow.

United’s next game sees them take on Fulham on Saturday the 8th of December.

It is still unknown if Martial will be fit in time for the game.
